Industrial heritage is not only a testament to history, but also an important element of a city’s identity and a source of inspiration for its future development. To celebrate European Heritage Days, we invite you to the Warsaw Gasworks Museum for workshops dedicated to the history of Warsaw’s gas industry and the role the Warsaw Gasworks played in the capital’s development.
Participants will learn about the history of municipal gas production, see original equipment and archival materials, and discover how technologies and energy sources have changed over the years. The program also includes a tour of the museum and stories about the people who helped build this unique facility.
