New Family Workshops: “At Ignacy’s Pharmacy”

The Warsaw Gasworks Museum invites families with children to participate in the chemistry and physics workshop “At Ignacy’s Pharmacy.” During the workshop, participants will take on the role of explorers and, just like Ignacy Łukasiewicz, will experiment and learn about the properties of various substances.

During the sessions, children and their guardians will mix, pour, heat, and observe the reactions taking place. They’ll discover the remarkable properties hidden in everyday items, including red cabbage, baking soda, vinegar, and oil.

The workshops combine learning with creative play. They encourage the youngest participants to ask questions, experiment on their own, and discover the chemical and physical phenomena present in their immediate surroundings. The sessions will be led by experienced educators from the Warsaw Gasworks Museum.
