The Air
You can’t see it or feel it—yet it surrounds us all the time. What exactly is air, and what properties does it have? During this workshop, we’ll uncover the secrets of air while learning about the basics of aerodynamics. We’ll explore how a helicopter’s rotor works and whether wings can be round. We’ll explore how air can transfer energy and why rockets have that distinctive conical “nose”.
The workshops are led by experienced educators who will introduce children to the fascinating world of science in an accessible way.
