At Ignacy's Pharmacy a series of chemical and physical classes
Ignacy Łukasiewicz was a pioneer of experimenting and discovering unknown properties of substances.
Just like Ignacy Łukasiewicz, participants in the workshop organised by the Warsaw Gasworks Museum will experiment, mix, pour and heat! This is the perfect recipe for scientific fun and for discovering the chemical secrets of everyday foodstuffs.
During the class we will find out what unusual properties red cabbage, soda, vinegar and oil have. We will see if a rainbow can appear on milk, try to produce electricity and make our own soaps.
The workshops, led by experienced museum educators, are a combination of science and creativity that stimulates curiosity about the world and encourages the discovery of chemical phenomena in everyday life
